Meanwhile, a day before the scheduled REET, large crowds of applicants were seen at bus stops in all 33 districts across the state on Saturday. The candidates were seen taking buses to the district where their examination centers are located.
The state government has announced free travel for REET applicants on national roads and private buses, while the North Western Railway also operates 26 special trains covering almost all major stations from September 25-26 to assist candidates to reach their exam destinations and return home.
The exam is taking place on a large scale on Sunday, as around 16.51 lakhs of candidates have registered. It is the most important exam in the state in terms of the number of candidates.
Considering the challenges of conducting the examination fairly and without any inconvenience to the general public, the state government deployed its mechanisms to make all arrangements and asked the state police to verify those involved in deceiving applicants in the name of aid. by passing the exam.
Transport Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas said the state government is committed to completing the exam with the safety and convenience of the candidates.
He said that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot himself was monitoring all arrangements for REET-2021 and that no laxity of any kind would be tolerated.
The test is conducted by the Ajmer-based Rajasthan Secondary Education Council at 3,993 examination centers.
All preparations for the review are complete and it will be assured that there is no use of unfair means during the review, said board chairman DP Jaroli.
He added that candidates who submitted multiple nominations have been identified.
