Kibra political candidates sign peace charter ahead of elections – GhettoRadio 89.5 FM


Lindi Ward MCA candidates have endorsed a peace charter at the Lind Mosque that will ensure peaceful co-existence in the country during this election period.

At an event organized by the Daraja Civic Initiative Forum in partnership with Uraia Trust, the leaders unanimously agreed that they will work together to ensure an enabling environment.

The contestants were also given the opportunity to sell themselves to ensure Lindi shines.

In attendance were Ochieng Samson Jera of the ODM, Alex Ambetsa who is an independent Eunice Okeya of the party Agano Otung Nicholas an independent candidate and Johnson Osila of the wiper.

Voters who attended the rally agreed that they would live in peace and harmony regardless of the outcome of the election.

“We know politicians always come here with lucrative language that makes us feel like their adversary will drive us to hell, but this time around, if it’s war, let them and their families lead, then we’ll follow.” , said a voter who kept his name private. .

“I am Ibrahim Imtimba from Lindi Mosque and I am happy for this public education event ahead of the upcoming elections, elections come and go. I ask the people of Lindi and Kibera as a whole to let us keep the peace and the Oder. Kibera is known to be an area of ​​violence, but this time let’s keep the peace,” he said.
