Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner no longer work on Donald Trump’s political movement, Axios reported.
They both served as senior advisers to the White House during his presidency.
But both have backed out of working with Trump, with Ivanka refusing to support his allegations of voter fraud.
Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner no longer work on former President Donald Trump’s political endeavors, Jonathan Swan of Axios reported.
Ivanka – Trump’s daughter – and Kushner – Ivanka’s husband and Trump’s son-in-law – both served as senior White House advisers during his presidency.
But Axios reported that the two are no longer involved in his political endeavors and that Trump is no longer close to many Republican officials who were in his inner circle during his tenure.
Since leaving office, Trump has purged his inner circle of anyone who refuses to believe the 2020 race was stolen from him, Axios reported.
The couple have distanced themselves from Trump since his tenure, with Ivanka bear witness at the January 6 committee earlier this year that she believed there was no fraud involved in her father’s 2020 election defeat, despite his claims.
Sources told the New York Times that neither Ivanka nor Kushner believed his claims that the election was stolen. The Times also noted that Kushner stepped back from his work with Trump as the former president began to challenge the election results.
