Frem launches Project Watan: a political movement for freedom, mission and sovereignty

The resigning deputy Neemat Frem, today launched the “Watan Project” during a press conference held at Louaize Notre Dame University in the presence of the founders of the project with its executive, research and administrative bodies.

The project is a “national political movement that aims to build the republic of man, freedom, mission, message and sovereignty in Lebanon,” Frem said in his opening remarks.

He felt that “Lebanon and man are twins, and there would be no raison d’être for Lebanon if it were not for a notion, message and belief for human joy and freedom. “.

“It is no coincidence that Lebanon existed in this part of the East, where it has a particular history. It opened up through its Orientalism to the West from the 17th century, and thus it experienced the Renaissance. It also interacted with and was the basis of the Orient during the Arab Renaissance, its message being that of science, freedom and excellence. This is how Lebanon has always been a land for the oppressed, and always a land and a refuge for man, ”continued Frem.

Sadly, he pointed to the current humiliation and famine that Lebanon is witnessing, “being on a hellish journey into the dark ages”. He added: “What is simply happening is that the country is leaving the 21st century in terms of life, education, hospitalization and culture, destroying its beauty, polluting the air, especially its wealth. unique in its groundwater, and certainly in terms of its infrastructure and technology. Lebanon we know is disappearing without return, and this time is different from all previous times. They are not only destroying Lebanon, but Lebanese man, the root foundation of Lebanon ”.

“From there, we decided to face this reality, not with anger or coercion, but with professionalism, planning, audacity and great faith. Knock and it will be opened to you, it is our faith. We want to create a revival, and we don’t want it to be a death awakening, but rather a life uprising, ”said Frem.

He added: “For these reasons, our response to the great collision and death of Lebanon’s identity was a project that denotes an alternative to surrender to death, the project of the homeland of man.

He explained that the launched project is a platform that is dedicated to building a state of productive and avant-garde institutions and a state of superior quality services. “The essence of the project is the“ first human being ”in his dignity, happiness and prosperity. Its objective is an environment of incubation renewal of the national pact, which guarantees the rights of the citizen and the obligations of citizenship, and stimulates productivity, modernity and equal opportunities ”, underlined Frem.

“We need a homeland, for a person without a homeland is an incomplete being. We all become strangers to the world, if we lose our homeland, and if the homeland no longer resembles us, and we do not resemble it… The relationship of the homeland with the citizen is a national contract similar to a marriage contract. It is true that its basis is true love and mutual joy, but at the same time, treatment and respect, rights and duties are very important. Therefore, building the Lebanese state institution to provide the highest level of pioneering services forms the basis of the relationship between nation and citizen, ”argued Frem.

Alongside the human homeland project, a portal has also been launched at the following link: WWW.PROJECTWATAN.COM.

“This portal will facilitate workshops and participatory round tables for the“ Watan Project ”research teams. It will form a digital community for residents and expats. Thanks to her, we are working together to build our new Lebanon, and to build the largest Lebanese network that qualifies us for the electoral deadline with success and distinction, ”he explained.

“We call on every loyal and concerned person from all walks of Lebanon, every revolutionary and all our distinguished guests present with us from the forums and formations of the revolution, to communicate and interact with the project, to be together to save the identity of Lebanon, and to ensure a decent entry for our generations into the 21st century and beyond, on the basis of competence, professionalism and integrity ”, concluded Frem.
