DDC President awards 351 Class D entrepreneur cards among eligible applicants to Ramban – India Education | Latest Education News | Global educational news
RAMBAN: Ramban District Development Council Chairman Dr Shamshada Shan today presented Class D Entrepreneur Cards to 351 eligible candidates from various Panchayats in the district in the presence of District Development Commissioner Mussarat Islam and SE, Jal Shakti County, Arun Gupta here today.
He was informed that during the two-day preselection camp organized by Jal Shakti Department in Ramban, these candidates were deemed eligible after reviewing their mandatory formalities.
These contractors will be eligible to apply for tenders for all civil works up to Rs 15 lakh in any of the 143 Panchayats in the district for the rapid execution of development works in the Panchayats under the programs. MGNREGA, B2V2, from the Regional Development Fund, etc.
Speaking on this occasion, the president said that this step will bring transparency in the allocation of development works in the villages and give jobs to the unemployed.
The government’s plan has been well received by the villagers, especially the unemployed young men and women.
