“All I could do was lie there,” says woman after being dragged off bike path, sexually assaulted – WFTV
CLERMONT, Fla .– A woman says she was walking along a bike path near a park in Clermont when she was caught and taken to nearby woods by two men who sexually assaulted her, said the police.
Clermont police said the woman arrested someone around 5 p.m. near the Lake Hiawatha reserve and told them what had happened.

Police said the woman said the sexual drumming occurred between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Police said the suspects were described as two men wearing dark clothes.
The woman said she thought the men were between 20 and 30 years old. She said that one man was skinny with dark, greasy hair and the other man was of medium height and had long curly hair.
The woman told police she only saw the men from behind as they cycled away.
Officers said they were working with the woman to draw sketches of the suspects.
Officers said security cameras near where the woman said she was attacked were not working at the time.
After the woman ran away, she was able to contact another person for help, and that person called 911.
“A girl has just run to the toilet and her clothes are ripped off. Two boys, she said, attacked her,” said the appellant.
When calling 911, the caller said the woman’s pants and underwear had been ripped.
According to a report, the men were riding bikes and calling the woman before approaching her.
Police said the woman told the men to leave her alone, but they grabbed her by the arm and pushed her to the ground.
The woman told police that after the attack, she lay on the ground for several minutes. She told the police, “All I could do was lie there.
The woman said she carried a pocket knife during her walk.
She told officers that during the attack she tried to scare the men with it, but the men used the pocket knife to rip her clothes off and then threw them in an unknown location.
Investigators said they believed it was an isolated incident and the community was in no danger. They said the investigation was active and ongoing as they continued to investigate all leads.
Police called the alleged attack “extremely unusual” for the region.
